The care that you gave our Dad was outstanding. The affection that you had for him was simply amazing. He was very happy in his last few years and moving him to Prideaux Lodge was the best decision my Brother and I made. Before he moved in with you, he was lonely and sad, but Prideaux Lodge changed all that.

Even the welcome that the family received when we visited was lovely and we will all miss coming.

"To all the dear caring staff at Prideaux Lodge.

From the minute I brought my Mum from another care home to Prideaux Lodge, I hoped and prayed I had made the right decision this time; I was not disappointed.

This journey we have both been on, cruelly for my Mum, has been the hardest thing I have ever had to help her with. But do you know, it was made so much easier with the help of all of you. My heart is filled with gratitude that I found such a beautifully run and managed home, with super staff at all levels.

Although Mum was an anxious little lady most of the time, I know she would have appreciated all the help and support she received. I thought I had lost her last March but with your care and gentle persuasion, you pulled her through, allowing me to have her for another 8 months; how lucky was I. She had the heart of a lion as you all witnessed!

In these past few weeks I have seen the immeasurable love, compassion, patience, care and dignity you have shown myself and my Mum; I can't thank you enough.
